What are the PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) when Compressing Images?

We have experimented image compression using our wavelets. Let us give some examples. 

Examples of applying univariate parameterized wavelets 

We found the parametrization for univariate compactly supported wavelets whose filters are length 4, 6, 8 and 10. Using the standard tensor product of these wavelets, we experiment the image compression. The following are a table of PSNR when compressing some of typical images: Lena512, Finger PrintMarmousiBarbaraCrowds , Boats.
